Joseph Liu

My love for designing and building delightful objects began at an early age while playing with Legos. Growing up I used take apart toys and look at the gears and electronics inside. I would play with Legos and design airplanes, boats, even helicopters. Legos were a great tool for the budding designer because they exemplify a modular design system. Pieces combine to make parts, which combine to make a structure. Like components in an app. Years later when I studied design in college, little did I know I was continuing my journey as a modular designer.
