Joseph Lopresti is the President and CEO of Arlington Wealth Management, a wealth management firm based in the Chicago Metropolitan area. He has spent over three decades in the finance and investment industry, starting as a broker in the 1980s. Joe quickly realized that he was not receiving sufficient knowledge and training, as the industry’s values were heavily sales-focused. He decided it was time to embark on a self-directed education path, where he developed his proprietary methodology used today. This innovative set of strategies towards enhanced investing practices set the direction for what we know today as Arlington Wealth Management. Founded in 2000, AWM allowed Joe to share these investment strategies with not only his clients but via a broader audience with the publishing of his first book, Empowered Investing: Strategies for Proactive Investors. The book instructs readers on how to proceed to become a strategic, organized, and disciplined investor. Also, for many years Joe shared his methodologies through a radio program and continues to teach his practices at a variety of local colleges, teaching adult education courses on investments, personal finance, and investments.
