Joseph Porto

Joseph Porto (born on October 23, 1989) is an American Entrepreneur, Physicist, Scientist, Founder and Director of Mach Labs. He founded Mach Labs when he was working as a lab expert for The Physicist’s Planet. This company deals with new aspects of physics to make people’s lives easier by implementing advanced gadgets.

Porto was born in Chicago, Michigan, and pursued graduation from Excel University in 2012. He won many International Scientific events and Olympiads. He even won a trip to NASA, where he did a project on Quantum Physics that made him understand the potential of Quantum Mechanics to be used in supercomputers.

Before becoming an entrepreneur, as a lab expert, Porto managed to study the potential scaling up of qubits or quantum bits to a mini-quantum computer. From there, he got the inspiration to use this technology to build a supercomputer that could work at light speed retaining information for a more extended time than usual, making electron holes the solution to operational speed/coherence trade-off in building quantum computers. Porto gained experience in this and built Mach Labs to make people aware of the Quantum computers that could make advancements in critical tasks that earlier took days to complete.

Porto was born and raised by his parents Dr. Edward Porto and Dr. Jena Porto, who are doctors in Michigan. He has a brother and a sister, out of which he is the eldest. Porto gained interest in Quantum Physics from sci-fi movies that he watched since he was a kid.
