Family and friends

I'm the third child of two loving parents for whom I am blessed to have provided endless support and countless opportunities. My two older sisters were great role models as we grew up working, learning and playing together. They married two fine gentlemen whom I am glad to call my brother-in-laws and to be a proud uncle and Godfather to each of their children, a niece and nephew. My extended family live primarily in the midwest and I always look forward to our visits at family events. There are countless friendships I've formed over many years with whom I strive to return equal and greater value and respect.

Life's Learning Curve

Mom and Dad encouraged us kids to be well rounded, teaching us to pray and keep holy the Sabath as practicing Catholics. We spoke German in the house through my Pre-School years. We took took violin lessons and participated in sports. We traveled to new places on road trips to National Parks and flights to Europe and Mexico.

In 2004, I graduated from Lamar High School - Go Redskins! And I was among the 2008 graduating class from the University of Houston - Go Coogs! Working at McDonough Engineering has been a very fortunate and rewarding start to my young career as a civil engineer, earning a Texas Floodplain Manager certificate in 2011 and licenced as a Texas Professional Engineer in 2012.

I volunteer with PIM and Achilles International as a certified RRCA Running Coach trained in CPR/AED and First Aid. I prepared for a mission trip to Nicaragua by attending a 4 day Mechanical Well Pump Repair Training Camp with Living Water International. I learned Water Quality Sampling and Testing through a course with Texas Stream Team.
