Joseph Balsamo

Currently a Membership Specialist with the Tampa Bay Rays. I graduated from Florida Gulf Coast University in Fort Myers, FL with a degree in Marketing and Management in December 2013.

Working in sports has always been a dream of mine, and doing so in the front office with direct contact with the fanbase has been more rewarding than I could have imagined, both personally and profesionally. I have grown to love selling, talking about sports with fans daily while educating them on the team and product offerings we have as part of our ticket plans and packages. Learning and growing with the help of great mentors, managers, and co-workers has been nothing short of memorable since I started in the sports industry with the Philadelphia 76ers in March 2014.

I look to grow my career in sports by dedicating my time and efforts to being the most knowledgable and hard-working employee I can be. I am living a dream working in sports and that is what makes every day fun and exciting as if it is the first day of a new job every day of the week. I love the endless hours at the ballpark and wouldnt trade it for anything!
