Joseph Mercado

Joseph is a Senior at Connecticut College majoring in Gender and Women's Studies. As a Posse Scholar, Joseph has applied the critical component of his education to further his interests in community development and issues of equity and equality. He is excited to work with organizations that have a similar mission in mind that will allow him to develop his thoughts on gender equality and inclusion for all people.

Joseph has taken courses as they relate to government, historical inequality and gender related issues. His desire is to mesh the three to promote new and inclusive ways to create public policy.
