With a background in airport planning and construction, Joseph Alesia leads a nationwide design-build enterprise that has overseen diverse construction and installation projects ranging from big box retail to luxury residential undertakings. Maintaining qualifications as a master tile setter and master carpenter, Joseph Alesia has extensive hands-on knowledge of plumbing and electrical systems. His 140-employee strong company has had a consistently exemplary safety record over the years.

Mr. Alesia’s current responsibilities extend to a position as manager of passenger experience and terminal operations with the Chicago Department of Aviation. In this role, he has developed and implemented strategies for decreasing transportation costs and easing traffic congestion. This included an $11 billion O’Hare modernization and expansion project.

Engaging with diverse contractors and private industry executives, Mr. Alesia has additionally helped conceptualize new transportation modes to the airport. Among those he has consulted with is Elon Musk’s The Boring Company, which envisions low-cost underground tunnels that will seamlessly connect commuters and transportation hubs. Since 2006, Joseph Alesia has maintained status as an FAA certified airplane pilot and advanced ground instructor.
