Hi! I'm Joe, PhD student and wannabe lecturer, currently sharing my academic resources between King's College London and the Royal Opera House.

My fully-funded research project is a collaborative endeavour, aiming to highlight audiences' responses to operatic performances streamed live to cinemas. My tentative thesis title is 'Opera Cinema: a New Cultural Experience' and my supervisor is Professor Chris Berry.

For just over a year, I was employed at a content manager at Right Casino Media. While most of my time was spent on our flagship brand, Right Casino, I was also responsible for a number of successful websites including Roulette.co.uk, LiveCasino.co.uk, LiveRoulette.co.uk and Slots.co.uk.

Previously, I had worked as a copywriter for a landscape architecture firm in Suffolk.

I have a first class degree in English and Film from the University of Exeter and an MA with distinction in Film Studies from King's College London, where I am currently reading for my PhD in Film Studies.
