Joseph Bernard

A member of Hampden County Bar Association and the Massachusetts Academy of Trial Attorneys, attorney Joseph Bernard currently heads a private legal practice serving western Massachusetts. Located in Springfield, his firm handles a variety of civil and criminal cases, and Bernard upholds a dedication to exhausting every resource available to secure for his clients the best possible results. Having tried more than 200 cases since beginning his career, he possesses particular knowledge of the legal issues surrounding driving while intoxicated, operating under the influence, and similar charges. He has extensive experience in civil litigation and personal injury cases.

Before establishing his own firm, Joseph Bernard gained invaluable experience with positions at law firm Boyle & Chernick and at the Hampden County District Attorney's Office. He also held teacher/lecturer positions with such institutions as Anna Maria College; Massachusetts Continuing Legal Education, Inc.; and Massachusetts Bar Association. As a way of giving back, attorney Bernard has lent his insights to more than two dozen area public schools.
