Beginning at the age of 15 as a construction laborer, Joseph Birnie became a foreman by the age of 17 and opened his own building business when he was just 19 years old. In addition to full renovations and remodels, he handled individual tasks such as adding levels to homes, creating custom decks, and performing various repairs. By consistently providing top-quality work and outstanding customer service, Joseph Birnie built a strong reputation and slowly grew his client base.
In 1993, he expanded into general contracting and modular home construction with the formation of FHA Inc. In 2008, Mr. Birnie took over Ferraro Medical Associates, an internal medicine practice in Paterson, New Jersey, and leveraged his extensive business experience to transform it into a profitable business. In addition to his work in health care, Joseph Birnie owns and operates several online franchises that offer anti-aging and health-and-wellness products.
Outside of his professional responsibilities, Mr. Birnie gives back to his community by supporting charitable organizations such as the United Way, the Make-A-Wish Foundation, and Troy McClain's Ray of Hope Buddy Cruise for children with special needs.
