I’ve always wondered about what computers are made of. What is inside of a computer that makes the screen light up and text to appear? How were those individual working parts made? How did we get these complicated circuit boards from rocks and dirt? Why do we use these particular materials instead of others? Today, I continue to ask the same questions, wondering about the fundamental origins of functional materials.

This curiosity has led me to desire a career in R&D in electronic materials engineering, pushing the frontiers of knowledge, finding new and better solutions to today’s challenges in the realms of energy, computation, and electronic technologies. I aspire to fulfill this career in industry, where innovation coordinates with market forces to bring technologies directly into the lives of the average person.

I am a lifelong learner in San Diego, California. My interests range from Chemical/Materials Engineering to Chinese Lion Dancing.
