Joseph Fleischer

Joseph Fleischer, FAIA serves as a Management Partner in Ennead Architects, LLP, based in New York City. As a partner in the firm, which was formerly known as Polshek Partnership, Joseph Fleischer directs the daily operations and overall finances. Immediately after earning dual undergraduate degrees, including one in architecture, from City College of New York, he began his career as an architect with the firm, which was then operated by James Polshek.

Joe Fleischer holds architectural licenses in multiple jurisdictions. Throughout his more than 45 years of experience, Fleischer has managed the design of facilities all across the United States and the world, including the International Studies Building at Indiana University, the Vietnam Veterans Memorial Education Center in Washington, D.C., the New York Times Printing Plant, and the U.S. Embassy in Muscat, Oman, among many others.

Joe Fleischer also serves as a guest lecturer for a number of institutions, including Columbia University, Cornell University, City College of New York, and Montclair University. As a member of the Dean’s Advisory Council of the Spitzer School of Architecture at City College, he helps develop fundraising programs. Fleischer also is a former president of the City College Alumni Association and now works on its Executive Committee.
