The adventure of my life. Sailed from New England through the Bahamas. If we liked an area, we might stay for 6 weeks and if we didn't we were gone with the next good wind. The adventures were real and at times we were living on the edge not knowing if we were going to survive the pirate attack, or survive the 3 days at sea in a tropical storm, or the 5 months in the islands without a penny. The odyssey lasted two years which gave me the opportunity for personal growth and the ability to test myself and see if I could hunt and trade like our ancestors without all the support of our civilized life. Looking back, it was the most alive you could be.
