Orlando, FL

I was born in the summer of 81 in a small southwestern Pennsylvanian town about an hour and 1/2 from Pittsburgh and 20 minutes from West Virginia. I lived there for the first 12 years of my life. My parents were fortunate enough in the mid 80s to see the marketability of the VCR and started the first video store in the area. It is undoubtably what started my love of movies, being the kid getting freebies and all. When I was 12 my father graduated WVU and got a job in Orlando, Florida, so needless to say I was moving. I went to middle and high school in Orlando and earned a scholarship to UCF. During my time at UCF wrestling was very popular and I found an ad for a wrestling school in Orlando. I went, was trained and actually wrestled a few matches. It was a great rush to perform and my goal was accomplished. I graduated UCF in 2004 and was nearly immediatly offered a position as a Deputy Sheriff at the Orange County Sheriff's Office. They sponsored me to go through the Police academy, which I graduated in May 2005. I served 4 years in the Uniform Patrol Division all over Western Orange County. If you can name it, I've seen it and then I'll throw back some things you've never thought of. I had always been a good student so in 2007 I decided to take the LSAT to see if I had the ability to attend law school. In 2008 I was in a vehicle accident that put me on light duty. At that time I considered what my future would be and decided to apply to law schools. The local school Barry University offered me a small scholarship and accepted me. Since out of all the schools I applied to this made the most fiscal sense I accepted, quit the Sheriff's Office and off I went. Once I got back to to the swing of being a student Law School was a wise decision. They offered a program called Summer in Spain, where you would take 2 classes in Madrid that would count toward your GPA and then have 3 days off per week to go explore. I had missed such opportunities in undergrad so I decide to throw caution in the wind and go. It was the best decision I've ever made. I did it again the next summer too. I also worked in the Children and Families Clinic defending Juveniles for criminal charges in court during my tenure. I graduated from Barry in May '12 and took the FL Bar Exam in July. I passed and was admitted to the Florida Bar in September.
