Greetings,
I'm passionate about amplifying stories of the local food, music, and entertainment community through writing, photography, and videography. In 2017, I created a DMV-based music publication called Concert Consumed. As the editor-in-chief, lead photographer, and social media coordinator for a media publication I've enhanced my skills across the music and media landscape.
My photography subjects include music artists such as John Legend, Lizzo, Fantasia, Jidenna, Anthony Hamilton, Boyz II Men, Ari Lennox, Jill Scott, DJ Kool, Beau Young Prince, Ciscero, Mannywellz, Dancing with the Stars, Tank and the Bangas, Brent Faiyaz, Tayla Parx, and many more.
I specialize in event recap, behind-the-scene content, performance and travel footage. Past video subjects include Mannie Fresh, Talib Kweli, The Women's Foundation, The Brave Summit, Afropunk, Complex, Youtube Black, The Wammies, Artechouse and various local events. Full concert performance videos are exclusively listed on the Concert Consumed Youtube Channel with a total of 45,000 views.
In addition to my freelance pursuits, I work in marketing for a national legal non-profit. I curate social media copy, layout & design, video, email marketing, and campaigns.
