My name is Josh Jones and I am an alumnus of UNC-Chapel Hill. I graduted in may 2013 with a BA in History and Philosophy. (http://history.unc.edu & http://philosophy.unc.edu/, respectively)

During my time at UNC I was heavily involved in UNC's Student Government, specifically the student-led Honor System in which I argued 70 individual cases in 3 years. I was also involved in UNC's Parr Center for Ethics as an Undergraduate Fellow. Before attending UNC, I transferred from my local community college, Pitt Community College.

"The violent, anti-rationalistic impulse in Western countries is reacting to an intellectual state of affairs in which all thinking has become strategy; this impulse shows a disgust for a certain form of self-preservation. It is a sensitive shivering from the cold breath of a reality where knowledge is power and power is knowledge." - Peter Sloterdijk
