Joseph K. Kamande
Joseph K. Kamande is a Kenyan educator, education consultant, mentor, aspiring author, and community leader committed to transforming lives through quality education, innovation, leadership, and personal development.
He holds a Bachelor of Education (Arts) from Kenyatta University and serves as a teacher under the Teachers Service Commission (TSC), Kenya. Throughout his teaching career, he has served in Gatunyu Primary School, Gatunyu Senior School, Gakurari Senior School, and currently Wamahiga Senior School. He has gained extensive experience in classroom instruction, learner mentorship, school leadership, boarding management, and curriculum implementation. He currently teaches Geography, Business Studies, and Community Service Learning (CSL).
Joseph is the founder of MAKE Network, an educational initiative dedicated to academic support, career guidance, mentorship, digital learning, and educational consultancy. He is passionate about integrating technology into education and equipping learners with the knowledge, skills, and values needed to succeed in a rapidly changing world.
As an aspiring author, Joseph is currently writing books focused on education, leadership, personal growth, and student motivation. His vision is to produce practical and inspirational publications that empower learners, educators, and communities to pursue excellence and achieve their full potential.
Beyond the classroom, Joseph actively contributes to community development through mentorship, leadership, and the promotion of sound governance in welfare and self-help organizations. He is passionate about building responsible communities founded on integrity, accountability, unity, and service.
Guided by the philosophy "Paso Corto, Vista Larga" ("Short Steps, Long Vision"), Joseph believes that lasting success is achieved through consistent, purposeful progress. His personal motto, "Natus Vincere" ("Born to Conquer"), reflects his unwavering belief that every individual has the capacity to overcome challenges and fulfill their God-given potential.
Through teaching, mentorship, educational consultancy, and community service, Joseph K. Kamande continues to inspire learners, educators, and communities to embrace lifelong learning, lead with integrity, and create a lasting positive impact on society.
