Joseph Macera

A recent college graduate with two years of communications and PR experience in government, looking to switch into sports communications and management. As of now, I am an Assistant Communications Coordinator for the Volunteers of America. In my experiences with government agencies, non-profits, along with my clubs and affiliations I have gained excellent work experience in not only communications strategies, but also project and personnel experience. I have been in charge of up to 50 people in dealing with sensative information. Now, I want to take my abilities into the ever growing sports industry.

Also, I write about sports from an obective and completely analytical perspective in my blog, Sports Facts and Useless Stats. Finally, I host a weekly sports podcast with a friend and colleague of mine. The podcast is called Two Joes and a Show, and it can now be found in the iTunes store.
