Joseph Marino
Realtor in North Andover, Massachusetts
I am a realtor currently living in North Andover, Massachusetts. My interests range from cycling to cooking. I am also interested in food and fitness.
Thank you for your interest. I come from the metro west real estate market, having spent over 14 years working for a high end developer / home builder / commercial property management firm. Prior to that, I was employed for 13 years by the Town of Lexington’s Zoning, Planning and Economic Development Offices. In that role I concentrated on the municipal side of the land use equation. I am fully versed in land development, new construction, and land use regulations. I also have a Masters Degree in Regional Planning.
My particular areas of expertise and experience are in:
· Due diligence for new developments.
· Analyzing zoning and land use controls as they impact land development.
· Assisting builders / developers / property owners navigate their ways through the land development approval process.
· Permitting and approvals in all phases of the development and building process. That includes all phases of land development and subdivisions all the way through to obtaining building permits and final certificates of occupancy.
· New homes.
· Commercial leasing and acquisitions.
Lastly and probably most importantly, I “speak” the language of the municipal employees and boards. I understand how communities view the real estate development process and how to manage that process.
My wife and I, Kathy, are 27 year residents of North Andover where we raised a Daughter. We are currently enjoying being grandparents to two energetic grand daughters who live on Cape Cod.
In our free time, Kathy and I, enjoy riding one of our tandem bikes through these beautiful New England communities or on the wooded trails in and around the local area. Most years we ride around 5,000 miles and will often ride up to 120 miles in a day.
