Joseph Pedulla
A businessman, college athlete, and former community diving coach, Joseph Pedulla attended Franciscan University of Steubenville, where he played both rugby and basketball while sustaining a 3.2 GPA as a freshman. After leaving the school because of financial difficulties, Joseph Pedulla worked for several seasons in his hometown of Edmond, Oklahoma, saving up enough to attend Benedictine College in Atchison, Kansas. While living in Edmond, Pedulla worked as a painter for Rob’s Painting and operated his own mowing service, Pedulla Bros. Lawn Care, through which he provided expert landscaping services to area residents. Both positions helped the young entrepreneur develop his business skills and his abilities in dealing with customers and meeting their needs in a timely fashion. While studying toward a degree at Benedictine College, Joseph Pedulla balanced his academics playing rugby and working at the area Wal-Mart to pay for classes. Eventually unable to pursue his own private education, Joseph Pedulla moved back to Edmond to develop a new career while going to school full-time at the University of Oklahoma, where he is currently enrolled. When not engaged in academics or work, Joseph Pedulla pursues one of his passions in life: sports. Joseph Pedulla’s sports achievements, to date, include winning the Oklahoma 4A State Championships in basketball in 2008 and taking home the state runner-up prize with his football teammates in his senior year at Bishop McGuinness Catholic High School in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. While growing up, Joseph Pedulla worked as a lifeguard at Sportsman’s Country Club, where he managed the Club’s diving program as head coach and instructed students of all different age groups, from toddlers to teenagers, in swimming and diving. Before coaching the diving club, Pedulla competed in the program, placing first in an Oklahoma City all-city diving competition 12 years in a row. Joseph Pedulla's other passion in life is his new wife and college sweetheart, Susan Vyvlecka Pedulla, whom he married in early 2011.
