Strategic Security Corp. Managing Director Joseph Sordi

An accomplished law enforcement and security professional, Joseph Sordi holds a bachelor of science in criminal justice and a master of science in protection management from the John Jay College of Criminal Justice in New York City. His areas of professional focus range from team building and management to information technology and regulatory compliance. Over his 20 years with the New York City Police Department (NYPD), Joseph Sordi was part of a reengineering management team to overhaul police department operations and supervised a counter terrorism - civil unrest unit called the strategic response group.

Since 2007, Joseph Sordi has served as managing director of the New York City security guard services and risk management firm Strategic Security Corp. (SSC). His daily responsibilities in this position revolve around the development and market expansion of company security services and new technologies. Mr. Sordi joined SSC in 2002 as an operations manager for domestic security projects for diplomatic facilities, private residences, and corporate organizations. He also oversaw multiple security and life safety assignments abroad.
