If you’re an out-of-the-box thinker like Joseph Tucker, you may opt to invent your own products. A native of Louisiana, Joseph was brought to Baton Rouge by a job promotion with a Fortune 500 company in 2010. Since then, he has founded, Hydra-Guard Technologies, that develops innovative products geared towards the sports industry. As an entrepreneur, he has acquired 1 patent, 1 licensed deal, and several trademarks. He has successfully invented and brought several products from concept to the shelves across the gulf coast and into consumers hands nationwide. He has experience in product development, branding positioning, raising capital, and negotiating deals with large retailers, distributors, as well sports leagues to NFL athletes. In 2015, he was named Start-up of the year at Innovation Park in Baton Rouge. In 2016, he was a TEDxLSU speaker that spoke on how to leverage failure for innovation. And in late November 2016, he was an honoree as the Baton Rouge 40 under 40. Today, Joseph has expanded his companies and will be releasing innovative inventions that are expected to be released in 2017 & 2018.
