"Remember that you have to survive (in business) in order to help others! And most therapists are woefully unprepared for the demands of running an enterprise. Consider that in most graduate degree programs, which prepare professionals for licensure into the helping field, coursework on the business aspects of helping others is not in the curriculum. As a nationally certified counselor, together with my 25+ years' business expereince at Microsoft and elsewhere, coupled to my Master's in Educational Psychology, an MBA in Management, and a nearly-complete PhD in Counselor Education, I hope to add value and to help other professional address opportunities and solve problems that matter to them."
