I grew up in the small rural town of Monson, Massachuesetts with a population of 8,000 strong. A town that is 45 Square miles but does not contain a single traffic light. A town with so much unity and strength that we survived the direct path of an ef3 tornado. A town that has taught me a lot about who I am and what I hope to become.
Currently attending the Isenberg School of Management at the University of Massachussets, Amherst I am an aspiring sport manager. I would love to one day be working in the player personell department for the Boston Red Sox or the New England Patriots.
Ever since I was little I have had a passion for sports. Playing them, watching them, reading about them. Every day I would dream, as any young man will do, about scoring the winning touchdown in the Superbowl and hitting the game winning homerun in the World Series.
Unfortunately my athletic ability only carried me so far. In high school I became aware that professional athlete was not in my future. Then I heard about the sport management major. After some brief research, I found my calling. What better way to make a living then through something I've loved my whole life?
Now I am taking steps to turn my passion into my career. Isenberg has the #1 sport management program in the World and I am proud to be a part of that brand. I hope to use the skills I learn here as well as my love of the industry to become a successful sport manager.
In five years I want to be able to say that I followed my dream and it came true. I want to be able sit back in my office chair at Fenway Park and say, I made it.
