A student of Emmy-winning violinist, Robert Rudie, and a graduate of USC. Joseph Yuan has a proven track record as an instructor of children and professional level musicians. Joseph has also studied with Philadelpha Orchestra soloist, Eugene Gratovich, and Austin Symphony Concertmaster, Vincent Fritelli.

As a player, Joseph Yuan's violin playing has been featured in several films. His performances are known for showcasing a unique style that combines traditional classical and striking individualism.

Joseph Yuan's younger students have been accepted to top performing arts schools in Los Angeles. Many of them have held section leader positions in their school orchestras.

Several of Joseph's adult students have held positions in semiprofessional symphonies and have had success as working professional soloists.

With an emphasis on making violin as instinctual as possible, Joseph's students are able to play with skill and confidence early on in their development as musicians.
