I must have become a nomad (inadvertently) in order not to fall prey to myself and thus avoid feeling comfortably numb. It took me some time to realise, but life really started some three decades after I was born. This is no doubt the reason why I look youthful despite my age... It is uncanny, but sometimes we simply do nothing and thus let life take over our own lives. We then realise that even the most imperceptible change may bring us back to a life that only a few years ago no longer felt ours. Kavafis was right. The true quest for Ithaca is to be found in the many ports we call in; in the joy of all those summer mornings we greet with our big smile; in the colourful cities we are fortunate to visit; in the company of those with whom we share the journey (from its fragile, miraculous origins, to its humbling terminus – and beyond). My journey is rich and fertile because it is firmly supported by a bright companion; a generous soul who trebles up as an enlightening guide, a sage coach and a sweet mother. We are both fortunate in that two marvellous guys escort us: our children, who graduated as son and daughter on the same day we graduated as their mom and dad. They are our anchors to an ever-changing, uncertain world – and a mirror where we can constantly see the incredible potential treasured by each and every human being. I was born in Catalonia, have lived in a number of countries and have visited many more both for pleasure and for professional reasons. I know something about a number of things; enough to make me reasonably useful to the eyes of companies and individuals in the fields of education and content industries. As Oscar Wilde used to say, I try to be myself – simply because everyone else is already taken. I firmly believe that our mission on earth is to be of help to as many people as possible. I also try to lead by example, although I don't always succeed. And I enjoy writing, among other things. If you are kind enough, you may even want to share some of my thoughts. I promise to post them from time to time.
