As a graduate of Howard University and The New School in New York City, Josette Compton completed fieldwork for her masters in international development in Cape Town, South Africa. Inspired by this experience; she later entered the classroom as a Teach for America fellow. Prior to her fellowship experience, she served as an editor, growing brand visibility through cross-promotion and community partnerships. With her administrative savvy, she enhanced reader engagement while simultaneously slashing administrative costs by 30 percent.
Josette is now combining her love of media with education by pursuing a doctorate in digital arts integration.
