Hi there! I'm a freelance live sound engineer based in Buckinghamshire. I have 7 years experience in the live event industry working in all areas/departments, mainly focusing on mixing front of house sound for live music events.

I have had a passion for live sound ever since I was little, it was and continues to be a huge passion for me that grows ever stronger. I always seek to expand my skills and knowledge within audio whenever I can, keeping up-to-date with the latest in technical evolution.

I am an excellent team member with strong skills in both leading and following directions from others, as-well-as the ability to work fully independently, completing tasks to a high standard even in tight time constraints.

I own a sizeable stock of audio equipment myself including Allen and Heath SQ Consoles, Martin Audio FOH & Monitor systems, together Sennheiser, Shure and AKG mic packages.

I currently trade under the name of JH Audio MK (Josh Hodges Audio Milton Keynes), providing sound engineering and PA systems to the live events industry all over the country.

Relevant work:

The Square In The Air: SITA are a live events production company based in Dunstable, providing stage, power, lighting and sound for all kinds of events and theatre performances. I have been working as a freelance sound engineer for Square in the air for the past 4 years within there audio department as FOH Sound Engineer, Rigging and maintaining PA systems including ground stack point source systems and flown line array. Along side sound, I also chip in with all the other departments during rig and de-rigs. Building staging, truss lighting and video rigs for the events they do. We do a lot of festivals in the summer and a lot of festival style events such as fundays, carnivals and private events. - 4+ Years

Venue Work:

The Stables Theatre: I'm employed on a Freelance basis as live sound engineer at the stables theatre. - 2 Years

MK11 - Live Music Venue:I'm employed on a Freelance basis, working with DW Audio, mixing sound in the main venue space with Yamaha QL series consoles and NEXO GEO M10 Line Array.
