While many have jobs in Information Technology, I truly work at the nexus between the two - creating solutions to derive value from data in faster and more effective ways. I have experience building and developing statistical information systems, creating data collection & harvesting utilities, and applying data-driven approaches to information security. My current interests involve Big Data technologies, NOSQL databases, anomaly detection, and pattern matching. I solve problems and use data to do it.
