Josh is an entrepreneur with a background in real estate, financial/operational management and software development. He has been active in investment, development and syndication where he has been a principal or senior executive responsible for over $100 million in real estate transactions. He served as President of multiple real estate-related companies including a real estate brokerage, property management firm, construction & development company, and executive office leasing where he was responsible for all aspects of business operations & development, including partnerships, legal, human resources, budgeting, capital raising, finance, tax, marketing, sales, asset management, investor relations, and quarterly reporting to the Board of Directors.

Josh has also served as a consultant and software architect for a number of companies across the US where he is a proven leader with the ability to build and mentor highly motivated and productive teams. The products that spawned from his research and development efforts culminated in a Fortune 500 “CEO Innovation Award”, the 2003 InfoWorld 100 Honors, Computer World’s “Best In Class” award and Information Week’s #2 ranking for “Innovative Technology Practices” in the energy sector.

Josh spent 10 years as a Managing Partner and CFO at Stratus Building Solutions. Stratus is a facilities management and commercial cleaning company that has been ranked the #1 fastest growing franchise by Entrepreneur.com for the last two years.

In 2017 Mr. Paterson sold his franchise with Stratus and acquired a digital marketing company, VividCollective.io. Vivid is focused on leveraging our branding and marketing expertise to develop customized programs for brands who seek to serve andscale. Josh's current project is a partnership, Arete Real Estate which is a land development group company in Colorado with current projects in Denver and Firestone.
