Josh Peterson

Based in Manhattan, Josh Peterson functions as an angel investor, an entrepreneur, and a startup executive. Experienced in numerous industries, Peterson provides money and advice to between six and eight companies in the healthcare, financial, and Internet sectors. Since commencing as his investment activities, his clients have become significant buyers of media from Facebook and from Google Inc.'s ad platform. Recently, Josh Peterson entered the emerging credit underwriting field.

Before beginning his career, Josh Peterson acquired a Bachelor of Science in Business from the University of Vermont. As an undergraduate, he established a house painting firm and managed a staff of 10 people. Subsequently, Peterson spent eight months with the Department of Commerce in Buenos Aires, where he learned that he preferred the business world to the world of bureaucracy.

After his tenure in Argentina, Josh Peterson came back to America, and founded an importing business that he sold after which he moved to San Francisco to take part in the burgeoning Internet industry. His initial web-based advertising company was among the first to handle performance-based online marketing. The success of this firm allowed him to sell his equity stake and dedicate six months to traveling the world. Following this period, Peterson took up residence in New York City, where he became a full time volunteer and Chief Operating Officer for charity: water, a non-profit dedicated to providing developing countries with clean drinking water.
