My name is Josh, and I’m a student at the University of Georgia. One of the things that defines me is my passion for baseball. I played baseball for seven years for rec, travel, and high school teams. I am also a passionate fan of Major League Baseball, more specifically the Atlanta Braves. Going to Turner Field growing up was one of my favorite pastimes and I cannot wait to go to the new Suntrust Park. I also love to follow the general manager moves within the league and follow player transactions. My major is business with a minor in sports management and I hope to one day be involved in baseball as my career. Seeing that my playing career didn’t go past high school, I want to find a way to keep it in my life as more as a fan. While playing travel baseball, I traveled to many interesting cities and colleges as a part of scouting. I personally love to travel, and it’s something I’d like to do more of when I get older. Being able to travel and have baseball involved in it would almost be like a fantasy. Baseball has taught me many life lessons, especially hard work and commitment. There isn't positive results in baseball without the work put in to it, which I apply to my school work.
