Josh Book

Josh Book has spent the last 18 years creating art and animation and leading creative teams in all aspects of the entertainment industry, including TV, films, video games, commercials, and new media. He’s worked repeatedly with billion-dollar IPs, helped create hit animated TV shows, and shipped multiple AAA games.

He’s most known for his work at Nickelodeon Animation Studios in Burbank where as the CG Creative Director he built the CG Department and pipeline and helped create the Emmy award-winning TV series DreamWorks’ “The Penguins of Madagascar”, “Tak and the Power of Juju”, “Fanboy and Chum Chum”, and “Bubble Guppies”. Book was formerly the Art Director for “Marvel Heroes” at Gazillion Entertainment, the CG Supervisor at W!LDBRAIN and an Animation Director and Lead Artist at Electronic Arts. He has animated on dozens of Hollywood productions. He enjoys mentoring the current and next generation of artists, and has taught at Animation Mentor and contributed to several books on his craft. Currently, he serves as the CG Creative Director at Ghostbot and is the Co-Founder and Creative Director for Mighty Yeti Studios.
