Josh Davidow
Josh Davidow is a documentary filmmaker and the producer/director of the Journey with Robert Thurman series: Journey with Robert Thurman in Bhutan (2010) and Journey with Robert Thurman in Mongolia (2011). These two films follow Professor Robert Thurman, chair of Indo-Tibetan Studies at Columbia University, as he leads Western travelers on a spiritual pilgrimage through the lands where Buddhism began. Josh is also the creator and producer of The Bob Thurman Podcast and The Bob Thurman Video Podcast which reaches an average audience of five thousand viewers per episode. In 2001, Josh formed Fresh Young Minds, a production company specializing in new media and video production. Josh has worked for in live television production on the Oxygen Network and holds degrees from New York University in dramatic writing and the University of Auckland for screen production. Davidow's most recent documentary, © kiwiright (2009), explores New Zealand copyright law, Internet termination and who really is in control of our culture.
