JOSH GORYL

Josh, a Michigan native, is a former hockey player turned start-up fanatic from Suffolk University. He spent the last two years at a pre-seed VC fund in Boston and an investment consultant where he helped private equity funds raise capital. While in college, Josh’s itch for entrepreneurship began when he co-founded iDream Talent, a boutique recruiting firm that set out to place former collegiate and professional athletes into business careers. He has since returned to Detroit to work as the Director of Business Development at SkySpecs, a drone software startup in Ann Arbor. Josh is a fitness enthusiast, an avid podcast listener, and a below average golfer. He is a Venture for America Fellow and a fellow of the Startup Leadership Program Boston chapter.
