Josh Greenbaum is a Los Angeles based business development professional specializing primarily in the entertainment and technology industries, where he focuses on creating sound business processes, establishing accounting structure and constructing financial projections. Currently, Josh works with BioBeats, and LM250 Digital, a tech/media consulting company. He regularly evaluates and advises new and emerging business ventures regarding strategic and financial planning. Previously, Josh was brought on as CFO of Deckstar, an artist management firm launched by the late Adam “DJ AM” Goldstein, Lawrence Vavra and Paul Rosenberg; VP Finance for Realta Entertainment Group, a video game developer (Band Fuse), and Operations Management for Whetherly, a contemporary fashion designer. Additionally, he was brought into a business management firm to advise in the business planning of an internet project, Dipdive, envisioned by will.i.am of the Black Eyed Peas.
The foundation of Josh’s career was rooted in public accounting. Before spending time at a local firm, BFLC, in Los Angeles, he worked in both the San Jose and Los Angeles offices of PricewaterhouseCoopers in the financial audit group. There, he worked with a variety of small and large companies spanning from venture capital, social media, semiconductors, and software industries all the way to motion picture and entertainment. Through the introduction of Sarbanes Oxley regulation imposed by the Securities and Exchange Commission, Josh gained the ability to efficiently and effectively understand business process flow and its impact on financial and operational risk.
Josh holds a Bachelors of Science in Business Administration from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo where he served on the executive board of various accounting organizations. He is actively involved in the Los Angeles Triathlon Club and has completed an Ironman triathlon as well as a 50 mile ultra-marathon and volunteers for the Sustainable Business Council of Los Angeles and Career Mentor Network.
