Josh Kalra

Hi! My name is Josh Kalra and I am very excited to provide you with the opportunity to get to know me!

I am a Resource Economics major with a great level of hand on experience.

Peronally I consider myself more on the academic side. I enjoy staying active and making new friends. But in my offtime, there's nothing better then reading an interesting book and expanding your knowledge about the world.

My real passion is the intersection of politics and business, and I hope to combine my hands on education in business with my academically powerful and intuitive understanding of today's politics to maximize society's resources. This passion is definetly my strength, for I have an indept education in American history and politics. Along with my experience in business, this allows me to view business from a micro and macro economic scale and effectively gauge future courses of action. It also gives me many ideas on how to perform well in whatever job I do and avoid the errors repeated in the past.

Looking forward I would like to tackle serious global issues. As the world globalizes it makes no sense to think small anymore, whether that be in business or government. In my career, I aspire to join global organzations, non-profit and for-profit, in the effort to make the world a better place. This includes think tank work, global aid, academia, and (international) policy.
