I am a father. A former Democrat legislator. An event organizer. A democrat. A good friend.

I am a highly responsible administrator and supervisor with a work history involving the planning, organization, supervision, and coordination of multiple events, operations, and activities simultaneously. I am an adept manager with highly respected skills in management, organization, administration and leadership. I have a history of producing major events for 100,000 plus attendees, while managing an operations budget in the millions of dollars and managing a volunteer and paid staff of over 1,000 with great success. My work history includes planning, developing, directing, managing, and overseeing the activities and operations of a wide variety of venues, events, and activities. I have a history that ranges from working as the manager and planner for open space and trail systems and historic mine yards to coordinating assigned activities with other Butte-Silver Bow departments and outside agencies. I have a diverse background including educational publications, environmental leadership, government/policy writing, and marketing. I have a keen sense and well-educated understanding of how to read and follow people and their preferences in relation to events, media, and marketing campaigns. I am a highly skilled communicator with excellent abilities to multi-task and work well under stress and deadlines to complete the tasks at hand. I possess the institutional knowledge of Butte-Silver Bow and its functions that will be essential for seamless integration into this position so that the public’s and the organization’s expectations will immediately be met without missing a beat.
