For over 40 years, Josh Powell Camp has remained a place for kids to be kids, unplug and play in the great outdoors. We offer 10 sessions during the summer, as well as camps during Fall and Spring breaks, for 5-9 year olds (current 2020 year K-2 graders). No tech distractions, just simple outdoor fun. A typical session includes the following activities, but there are always some fun additions made by our creative counselors:

Arts and Crafts

Canoeing

Fort Building

Tether Ball

Archery

Kickball

Whiffle Ball

Nature Walks

Jewelry Making

Ga Ga Ball

Rock Climbing

Our counselors are energetic and fun Elementary School Teachers and College Students looking to make this summer the best ever for your children! Sessions are $395 for bus and car riders, with pick-ups at Kairos Church (I-285 and Riverside Drive), Sutton Middle School (Northside Drive) and First Presbyterian Baptist Church (Marietta Square).
