Josh Rose

I am an Art Historian and Museum Educator with a B.F.A. in Painting, and an M.A. in Art History.

I currently serve as full-time faculty at El Centro College, teaching Art History and Art Appreciation courses.

Additionally, I have taught a wide variety of courses, including specialized topic classes on Surrealism, Postmodernism, and the history and culture of comics

I have also worked in Museum Education, most recently serving as the Manager of Docent and Teacher Programs at the Dallas Museum of Art. I have previously worked in the Education departments at art museums in the Dallas/Fort Worth area, including the Nasher Sculpture Center.

Finally, in my spare time, I help organize and lead the Dallas Comic Book Club, a comic and graphic novel-focused reading group.
