Mr. Joshua Humbert is a philanthropic and social enterprise strategist with over twenty years of experience and demonstrated results in the non-profit and private sectors. He is a subject matter expert on factors that affect philanthropy, such as Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), governance, social capital, and socioeconomic policies that shape national trends.

Currently, he serves as the Vice President for Institutional Advancement, University Relations, and Executive Director, CSU Foundation at Coppin State University. His career in philanthropy began with Jubilee Housing Holdings as the Associate Director of Development, $50M campaign. Following successful campaigns and careers with positions such as Regional Director of Development, for the Boys and Girls Club of Greater Washington, Director of Emerging Markets, at the University of Maryland - Great Expectations, $1B Campaign, Leadership Gifts Director at Spelman College, $150M Campaign, VP of Philanthropic Strategies & Major Gifts, at The National Urban League and most recently, Director of Philanthropic Strategies for The CFP Board.

Mr. Humbert is trained and has engaged in board development, budget management, marketing, communications, and strategic planning for various nonprofit institutions and corporations. Joshua is one of nine African American men who hold a master’s degree in philanthropic studies from Indiana University, Bloomington. He is a proud HBCU graduate of Norfolk State University, where he earned a Bachelor's Arts degree in Political Science.
