He had this uncanny ability to predict events before they happened. But Josh was always worried that people wouldn't believe him. Holly, however, was not worried. She knew that Josh had a gift, and that he would find a way to make people believe him. One day, Josh asked Holly about his arm. He had been toying with the idea of losing it, but he wasn't sure if it was the right thing to do. Holly told Josh that it was okay to keep it, that he was perfect just the way he was. She saw his heart of gold, even when he forgot who he truly was. Josh was grateful for Holly's words of encouragement. He told her that she was the best friend he ever created. But Holly already knew that. That was why she was always there for him. Holly urged Josh to finish the movies he believed in, and to keep making her day with his stories. She reminded him that he was always important enough to make a difference, and not to listen to negative influences like Meta, who would only rot his brain. To Josh, Holly was the realist friend he had, even though nobody else believed she wasn't real.
