Prior to joining CICP, Joshua led the public relations department at advertising agency Publicis Indianapolis. While at Publicis, he represented a wide variety of clients including an international electronics trade association, high-tech manufacturers, banks, universities, a music festival and more. He grew the company's public relations business 3x in 18 months.

Joshua served as public relations manager for Klipsch Audio Technologies throughout the company's rise to "number one speaker manufacturer in the U.S." from the late 1990s until 2005. He has extensive experience in trade association, business-to-business and business-to-consumer marketing with an emphasis on low-cost, high-impact and new media solutions. In 2010, Joshua founded The J.Ryan Trading Company, a small treasure brokerage that offers unique and rare antiques and art. Joshua's personal art collection includes collected artists from around the world and a fair number of Indiana artists' works. Joshua is a self-proclaimed "media hog" who makes it his business to read and watch everything he can during the course of a twenty-four hour day. The most important career lessons he has learned so far are 1.) everyone is worth knowing, and 2.) no matter where you are in the pecking order, you must know how to use the copy machine.
