I am currently employed with CBS News. I’m a Broadcast Associate for the program 48 Hours . In this position I research and fulfill archival footage requests from producers as well as gather footage from third party sources for production use. I also maintain archival records and am in charge of archiving all field tapes after the shows have aired.

I have a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism and a minor in studio art from Southern Methodist University in Dallas, Texas.

Focused on broadcast journalism, I am interested in all aspects of the news gathering process such as producing story ideas, conducting interviews, shooting video, and editing the final product.
I’m also comfortable being on camera as well as working jobs in the control room such as directing, technical directing, running the audio board and server.
In my senior year I worked for The Daily Campus, SMU’s Independent Newspaper as the Managing Editor.
