Joshua is a Special Education teacher at the East Bronx Academy for the Future in New York City. For quite some time, he has been tutoring and teaching children in multiple subject areas, and in 2011 joined the NYC Teaching Fellows. Currently, he teaches 6th grade ELA and Math for the special needs population. In addition, Joshua has experience in the music business working in marketing, digital media, and artist relations.

In his spare time, Joshua is an active singer who performs and ministers at First Corinthian Baptist Church, and at local functions in Harlem. He is an active and talented writer proficient in creating literature, biographies, songs, and music editorials. He loves to empower the youth to succeed and achieve greatness within the community. Joshua plans to take his voice and writing to the next level, and stands firm as a man of faith and God. He is thankful to God for all of the blessings, trials, and tribulations, and holds onto the scripture "I can do all things through Christ who strengths me." Philippians 3:17. Joshua loves life and is living it like it's golden, golden, golden, golden!!!!
