Hey there, I’m Joshua Dansereau. I’m a call centre team lead, IT professional and graphic designer living in Brisbane QLD, Australia. I'm a fan of technology, design, dogs and travel. I have a great wife and family I enjoy spending time with. I'm also interested in urbanX, good food, running, and getting into adventures.

My background has usually been technical and IT. From an early age I was programming computers, they ended up like second nature to me. My first real job was building computers for a small government contractor. This lead to web design in the early days of the dot com era (back when Yahoo was king and AOL had a huge market share. Google who?). Naturally when designing websites you need graphics, this lead to learning Photoshop and Illustrator out of necessity. I always needed a way to express myself creatively and artistically. Combining art with my natural ability for tech was a great match. Something I always enjoyed was helping people. Naturally with expertise in tech you have friends and family coming to you as the go-to phone and computer fixer. I started my call centre customer service career 7 years ago combining these two aspects of my life. Why not get paid doing something you like and you're good at? My career has brought me to currently working for one of the top 10 Fortune 500 companies as a team leader. Motivating a team can be challenging but it's rewarding to see team members flourish.

I recently relocated from the States to the land down under, Australia! Currently myself and my wife live in Brisbane, Queensland. It's been a lot of fun meeting everyone and getting used to the small differences.
