I am a management professional with areas of focus in fundraising, nonprofit management, board governance, and constituent relations. I also have a background in public administration where I focused on strategic planning, had a small focus on city planning, social media management, grants management, communications flow, website/marketing development, community relations, and constituent relations.

I am currently serving at my alma mater as the Vice President of Institutional Advancement, covering areas of giving, alumni relations, marketing, and public relations for Bluefield College.

I previously served as the President/CEO of Chamber of Commerce of the Two Virginias. This regional Chamber of Commerce was created from a merger I facilitated in 2018 of the Greater Bluefield Chamber of Commerce, where I served as President/CEO, and the Princeton-Mercer County Chamber of Commerce, where I served as Interim President/CEO. This concluded a process dating back to the 1970s that was discussed, was started and then stopped several times, and thought unattainable by many.

In 2015, I was name by The State Journal (WV) to the 2015 Class of Generation Next "40 Under 40" Award. I also give back serving on a number of boards and commissions in Virginia and West Virginia including: being an ongoing volunteer at Westminster Presbyterian Church; chair and executive committee member of Mercer County Convention and Visitors Bureau (WV); executive committee member of Development Authority of Mercer County (WV); board member of Bluefield, West Virginia Rotary Club; past member of the Bluefield College Board of Trustees – Chair of Committee on Trustees; past chair of City of Bluefield, West Virginia Planning Commission; past Visit Tazewell County board member; past Visit Southern West Virginia Board Member; past Bluefield YoungLife donor committee member; past United Way of Southern West Virginia board member; past Virginia Association of Chamber of Commerce Executives board member; past Bluefield College Strategic Planning Team member; past Blue Mountain Performing Arts Board member; past Bluefield College Alumni Association Board member; volunteer work completed at various community events and activities.

My wife, Peyton, and I live in Bluefield, West Virginia with our two boys, Crawford and Chandler, and dog, Marley. We are proud to be part of Appalachia and our work to make life in the region better for us all.
