Starting a career is a curious milestone. On one hand, it’s an exciting starting point with seemingly unlimited potential, but conversely, it can leave one yearning for more impact, more immediate fulfillment. While I currently spend my days working for a midwestern advertising agency, I continually look for other ways to engage my untapped passion for affecting social change through media. I sincerely believe effective communication can transcend typical business objectives like increased revenue or brand awareness – it can literally change the perspective of a society. Aside from my career ambitions, I spend most of my free time in fitness classes, on the beach (weather permitting), surveying the local culinary scene and traveling. This year I’ve had the opportunity to explore three phenomenal cities – Puerto Vallarta, Washington DC and Los Angeles. Before year’s end, I intend on visiting a couple more. Every city I visit has its own cultural nuance — a unique way of thinking—that serves as inspiration, both professionally and personally.
