I'm Joshua, a communications and public relations pro who helps companies create and tell compelling stories about how they’re solving their customers’ most urgent problems.
For more than 15 years, I've been a storyteller of the zeitgeist. When companies are unable to consistently guide stakeholders towards choosing their product or service, it’s often because they fail to tell a story that earns attention, builds trust, and earns a response to the company's call-to-action.
I partner with CEOs and executive leadership teams to conduct customized Storytelling Workshops, and then I develop a narrative that humanizes the science and technology. I then create an integrated, multi-channel communications strategy, including thought leadership, content assets, and media strategy (earned, owned, sponsored, and social), which enables them to connect with their target customer and motivate a purchasing or prescribing decision.
My work has launched products in 22 countries, built $1B+ blockbuster brands, and cultivated market-leading reputations for global pharmaceutical, biotechnology, life sciences, and healthcare-technology / MedTech companies. I've also partnered with B2B and B2C healthcare service providers and technology developers. I’ve helped companies generate more than $300 million in new revenue in 6 months, increased sales with targeted customer segments by 50% in 2 years, and sparked 20% YoY revenue growth.
As a crisis communications leader, company spokesperson, and with experience as a media trainer, I’ve navigated complex issues and regulatory challenges, such as public watchdog petitions, CEO resignations, and activist backlash. I’ve helped companies mitigate reputation damage from price increases, and guided strategy and messaging for FDA Ad Coms, CRLs, and product recalls.
I’m also a communications agency brand builder who creates business development strategies and bespoke communications solutions that drive revenue and improve client retention and satisfaction. I’ve secured $25+ million in new revenue, grown organic business with 7 clients in 2 years, and won new business from a client in 10 countries.
