Joshua ODEYEMI is a business development consultant with over 4 years’ experience working with Small and Medium Enterprises. He is the Director/Lead Consultant at BAE Consulting, a business consulting firm with its head office in Lagos, Nigeria.
Joshua uses his deep understanding of analysing client’s business models and processes to help them develop structures geared towards sustainability and profitability and also fix failing structures. He also registers all kinds of businesses with the Corporate Affairs Commission and has registered 270+ businesses in the last 18 months. He has consulted on and contributed in projects from the design to implementation stages for noteworthy enterprises including Iyanu (USA), So-Kleen, Gadgetshub.com.ng, Doyeenz Place, Cedar Partners Limited among others.
Simply put, Joshua is a serial entrepreneur as he engages in many legit businesses.He is co-founder/COO of Quicksew NG, Nigeria's foremost Express Service Bespoke Fashion Designing Outfit with head office in Ibadan, Nigeria and its Laundry Services outfit in Ife, Osun State.
He has vast experience in Civic Leadership/Social entrepreneurship. Currently, Joshua Odeyemi is the team lead at Youth Resource Network, Africa, an NGO committed to the cessation of the problem of unemployment facing Africa by equipping, empowering and mentoring young people to build profitable and sustainable businesses. He focuses on entrepreneurial development among students of tertiary institutions in Nigeria through various projects like Business And Entrepreneurship (BAE) summit, school of Leadership and Business, Bootcamp for young and aspiring entrepreneurs and skills acquisition training, which since 2017, has impacted 5,539+ students of tertiary institutions in Nigeria.
He has also demonstrated leadership by volunteering with various organizations both home and abroad. He currently sits as a Governing Council Member of Beth-Help Foundation for Widows and Orphans.
Joshua holds a Bachelor of Technology degree in Applied Geology from the prestigious Federal University of Technology, Akure.
Joshua Odeyemi's goal is to empower at least 5,000 students yearly across various tertiary institutions in Nigeria to create the new waves of Nigeria SMEs yearly even while in school, instead of adding to 47.1% of unemployed graduates produced by Nigeria tertiary institutions yearly. He so much believe this will put an end to poverty and unemployment in his country and Africa at large.
